Job Description

Stores Administrator (Catering) - KZN We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stores Administrator with a strong food safety background to join our catering team. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative skills, a solid understanding of inventory management, and a passion for maintaining the highest standards of food safety. Responsibilities - Manage and maintain accurate inventory records, including stock levels, orders, and deliveries - Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries - Receive, inspect, and store goods, including perishable items, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations - Maintain a clean and organized storage environment, adhering to health and safety standards - Provide administrative support to the catering team, including data entry and reporting - Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high food safety standards Requirements - 1 year of experience in stores administration, inventory management, or a related field, preferably within the food industry - Strong understanding of food safety regulations, including HACCP and allergen management - Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines - Relevant qualifications, such as a diploma or certificate in food safety, administration, or inventory management
