The unit features 8 beds with a patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:3. The patient population includes individuals recovering from Cardiothoracic Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Thoracotomies, TAVRs, and complex PCI interventions. The role involves handling post-open heart and post-cardiac procedure care. Required procedures include central line placements, arterial line placements, and chest tube placements. Familiarity with Edwards Monitoring, GE Monitoring, and SWAN Ganz catheters is essential.
