Travel Nurse RN - Psych - $2,019 per week in Clive, IA

Job Title: Psych Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: RN Psych Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (7 AM - 7 PM) Experience: Minimum 2 years of psych experience License: Current RN license in good standing Certifications: Handle with Care (training provided during onboarding) Must-Have: Adult or Child/Adolescent experience acceptable Description: The position is for a Psych Registered Nurse. Candidates must hold a current RN license in good standing. Experience with either adult or child/adolescent populations is acceptable; both are not required. The patient population includes children ages 5-12, adolescents 13-17, and adults age 18 and up. The unit staff includes 1 RN and 1 RN/LPN for a ratio of 12 patients, as well as 2 mental health techs on the day shift. A matrix for staffing will be provided upon hiring. During night shifts, there is 1 RN and 1 mental health tech per unit. Every other weekend is mandatory. Schedules are organized in two-week blocks. Handle with Care training is a requirement, and training will be provided for onboarding.
