Pay Information $2,182 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years (1 year with travel experience considered) License: Iowa RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, Mandatory Reporter Certification (Child and Adult) Must-Have Skills/Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery - Strong skills in monitoring active labor patients - Ability to float within the hospital as needed Description: This position requires working in a labor and delivery unit. Candidates must have experience in labor monitoring and couplet care. Patient ratios include a 1:1 ratio for active labor and 3:1 for couplet care. The equipment used includes intermediate fetal monitoring and electronic health records. Candidates must have up-to-date titers within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB. A 10-panel drug test, including opiates, is required. All background checks must be cleared prior to starting; no exceptions. Mandatory reporter certifications for both child and adult are required. Candidates should be prepared to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. This role supports a diverse patient population, requiring a team-oriented approach.
