Job Title: Emergency Medicine Physician (Locum Tenens) Location: Lawton, OK Assignment Type: Locum Tenens (1-Year Contract) Start Date: ASAP Shifts: Flexible Day (8a 8p), Mid (10a 10p), Night (8p 8a) Night shift availability required Certification Requirements: ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified/Eligible Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established Emergency Department team in Lawton, OK on a 1-year locum tenens contract, starting as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for a physician looking for a long-term contract role with flexible scheduling and a supportive clinical environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality emergency care for patients across all acuity levels Work collaboratively with nurses, advanced practice providers, and other staff Accurately document all patient encounters in a timely manner Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed Maintain active communication with hospital leadership and ED staff Qualifications: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) required Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Oklahoma or ability to obtain Willingness to work night shifts is essential Strong clinical decision-making, multitasking, and communication skills Highlights: 12-hour shifts with flexibility between day, mid, and night schedules Priority will be given to candidates available for night coverage Immediate start for qualified candidates Supportive team culture and experienced clinical staff
