Site Superintendent

Insight Global is seeking a Site Superintendent for a commercial construction project involving a 25,000 square foot expansion. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in assembling industrial or commercial structures—especially those familiar with metal framing and phased construction. While prior management experience is not required, a strong grasp of construction processes and technical know-how is essential. This is a 6 month to 1 year contract-to-hire position. If you have the potential to step into a Project Manager role, that’s a major plus. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day site operations for the facility expansion Supervise specific construction phases and ensure quality execution Coordinate with subcontractors and trades to maintain project timelines Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes Troubleshoot technical issues and provide on-the-ground solutions Report progress and site updates to project stakeholders Qualifications Experience assembling industrial warehouses or similar commercial structures Strong understanding of metal framing and commercial construction phases Ability to supervise crews and manage site logistics Technical construction knowledge prioritized over formal management experience Previous exposure to commercial projects (not necessarily as a superintendent) Willingness to grow into the role—junior candidates with solid project experience are encouraged to apply Nice-to-Have Skills Project management capabilities or interest in transitioning into PM role Familiarity with scheduling tools and construction documentation Pay starting at $50/hr depending on relevant skills & experience.
