Travel CT Tech - $3,106 per week in Elkhorn, WI

Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: Imaging Specialty: General Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Rotating Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: 1 year required License: State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT in CT Must-Have: Strong IV skills preferred Knowledgeable in different CT exams Patient transport experience preferred Experience with stroke and contrast scans Description: Must be able to work independently in CT and surgery cases. Must be willing to rotate shifts, including third shifts. Facility operates with a small community setting and has 64 licensed beds. There is 1 CT scanner available. Experience with high acuity patients is necessary. Patient types include inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and operating room cases. The roles include performing generalized scans, cardiac procedures, angiograms, and CTAs. No interventional radiology procedures or biopsies are performed. Patient ratios are typically 1:1. Experience with EPIC charting system preferred. Equipment includes GE Optima 360 and McKesson PACS systems. Charting system experience is an asset. Must possess X-ray skills as well. The department typically has 2 CT techs but only 1 on third shifts. CT cases are managed in 30-minute blocks. Will float to X-ray department as needed. Weekend rotation is rare and based on necessity. Variable start times from 2200 to 0800 may apply. No on-call responsibilities are required.
