Overview Position title: Machine Vision Software Engineer Location: Admiralty Working Days: 5 Days A Week Working hours: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm Salary: $5500 - $8000 (depends on experience) Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications for vision systems. Responsibilities Design and develop PC based automated visual inspection systems for our full range of semiconductor equipment. Evaluate and conduct a feasibility study on the customer’s vision specifications. Responsible for integrating any new vision hardware (camera, frame grabber, etc) into the vision software. Troubleshooting and improving the processing time of the inspection. Provide technical support to internal and external customers to fulfill the inspection requirements. Change the vision inspection algorithm to improve the inspection capabilities and its performance. Be the key driver for continuous improvement plans for new and existing inspection capabilities. Coordinate with customers for any new enquiry with sale personnel if needed. Work closely with the vision application and optics team members to produce the best inspection result. Build and nurture a culture in an engineering organization of harmony, quality, ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision making. Requirements BS Science Diploma or higher in electrical and electronic, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering, or related technical discipline or equivalent practical. Technical troubleshooting experience. Minimum 3 years in the related field. Relevant technical work experience, including automation machine system troubleshooting. Experience working with end customers. Understanding semiconductor manufacturing process, vision inspection settings, machine software settings, and configuration or equivalent practical experience.
