Mechanic- Heavy Construction Equipment Mechanic

Job Description Job Description Qualifications: 5 years Heavy Commercial Construction Equipment Mechanic experience OR an associates degree in Heavy Equipment Mechanic field with 1 year direct heavy equipment mechanic experience required. Assembles, sets-up, adjusts and maintains, and repairs all types of construction equipment such as internal combustion engines, diesel engines, air compressors, pumps, concrete mixers, heavy earth moving equipment, rock crushers, paving equipment, cranes, back hoes, loaders, etc. May perform duties of welder in repairing equipment. May be required to travel to jobsites to repair and maintain equipment. Must be able to frequently lift up to 45 lbs. May assist other craft workers. Must adhere to safety protocol, and work in a drug-free environment. Wage is negotiated as part of the hiring process and is based on experience.
