Job Title: Nurture Teacher (Maternity Cover) Area: Coulsdon, Surrey Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Maternity Cover - Full Time Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Working hours: 38.5 hours per week, 8:30am - 4:00pm Mon-Fri (one day until 5:00pm for CPD) Brief description: Opportunity to lead a nurture provision within a therapeutic SEND school in Coulsdon, supporting students' academic, social and emotional development. About the school: An Ofsted Outstanding specialist provision offering a holistic, therapeutic approach for students with social, emotional and mental health needs. The school provides a nurturing environment where pupils feel safe, valued and motivated to achieve. About the role: Lead the Nurture Faculty, oversee pupil progress, coordinate staff, plan and deliver engaging lessons, and foster an inclusive and supportive culture. Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents and carers to promote positive outcomes. We're looking for a dedicated candidate to: Deliver high quality teaching and personalised learning. Support students' emotional resilience and academic growth. Provide clear assessment and feedback. Champion an inclusive, respectful ethos.Requirements - The ideal candidate would have: Experience in a SEND or specialist setting. Strong curriculum knowledge and classroom management skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
