Management Accountant

Your new role Being an integral part of the finance team, you will take ownership of the monthly management accounts working to strict deadlines. Your main duties will include; bank reconciliation, overseeing the accounts payable/receiveable transactions for the UK and overseas, VAT, cashflow forecasting, balance sheet reconciliation, fixed assets, journals, prepayments and accruals. You will also be required to support the rest of the team, especially at the month-end, continuing the collaborative working ethos of the team. What you'll need to succeed As this is a smaller finance team, it is crucial you can offer a proactive mindset as well as continually look to improve systems and procedures. Being part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/AAT), you will look to continue with your studies as well as developing your management accounting skill set further with a particular focus on reconciliation experience. A personable, team-orientated approach is essential and someone who enjoys the social aspect or working within a close-knit team.
