️ FREELANCE CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – RETROFIT PROJECT Location: Worcester Start Date: Early November 2025 Day Rate: Competitive (DOE) Required: Valid Scaffold Inspection Ticket Our client, a reputable contractor specialising in retrofit and refurbishment works, is seeking an experienced Freelance Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of a retrofit programme starting early November. This is a site-based role, ideal for a hands-on manager with a strong eye for quality, programme, and health & safety – and someone who can hit the ground running. Key Responsibilities: * Oversee day-to-day site operations for retrofit works (e.g., insulation, window upgrades, M&E enhancements) * Manage subcontractors and coordinate schedules to ensure smooth workflow * Conduct scaffold inspections and sign-offs (must hold a valid ticket) * Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and site standards * Liaise with the client, project team, and local authorities as required * Maintain site records, reporting progress, risks, and key milestones Requirements: * Proven experience managing construction/retrofit projects * Valid Scaffold Inspection ticket (essential) * SMSTS or equivalent * CSCS * First Aid * Strong understanding of health & safety protocols * Excellent communication and organisational skills This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd that is operating as an employment business.
