Job Title: Plumber / Pipefitter Location: Aldermaston (AWE Site – No Security Clearance Required) Start Date: October 2025 Duration: 18 Months Hours: 45 per week Rate: £27 per hour The Role We are currently recruiting experienced Plumbers / Pipefitters to work on a new build facility at the AWE site in Aldermaston. The project is located slightly off the main secure site, so no SC clearance is required. Work will involve: * Installing press-fit copper systems * Working with HDPE / PVC above-ground drainage * General plumbing and pipefitting duties on a large new build project Requirements * Proven experience as a Plumber / Pipefitter on commercial or industrial projects * Skilled in press-fit copper installation * Experience with HDPE and PVC drainage systems * Valid CSCS / JIB card * Must be able to pass a DBS check and Balfour Beatty People check * Own tools and PPE What We Offer * £27 per hour, paid CIS or umbrella * 45-hour working week (with potential overtime) * Long-term contract – 18 months guaranteed work * Opportunity to work with a leading contractor on a major new build project
