BMS Design Manager Location: South East England (commutable from Surrey, Berkshire, West London) Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum Benefits: Car allowance, pension scheme, 25 days holiday bank holidays, ongoing training & development About the Company A well-established Building Management Systems (BMS) specialist, delivering intelligent building automation solutions across commercial, healthcare, education, and industrial sectors. With a strong pipeline of upcoming projects, they're seeking an experienced BMS Design Manager to lead and support their in-house design and software engineering teams. The Role As the BMS Design Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical output and team performance of a group of 3 Design Engineers and 3 Software Engineers. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality BMS designs and software configurations, driving project success from concept to completion. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage and mentor the design and software engineering teams Oversee the production and review of system designs, schematics, control panel layouts, and technical documentation Ensure design compliance with specifications, industry standards, and client requirements Coordinate with project management, commissioning teams, and clients to ensure effective delivery Provide technical leadership in the use of Trend and Tridium systems Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team performance and quality Support resource planning and contribute to team development and recruitment Requirements Proven experience in a senior BMS Design or Project Engineering role In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Trend and Tridium systems Prior experience leading or mentoring technical teams Strong understanding of BMS architecture, control strategies, and integration principles Proficiency in technical documentation and schematic development Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Full UK driving licence (occasional site travel may be required) Apply Now If you're a passionate BMS professional with leadership experience and are ready to take your career to the next level, we want to hear from you
