Project Manager

Hays has partnered with a contractor who does full renovations for multi-family residential units. They are located in North York and service the Greater Toronto Area. The open role is a for a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager reporting into the Operations Manager. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing full renovation projects within multi-family including suite renovations and turnovers, service calls and common area upgrades. They will review drawings, specifications and site conditions to develop accurate bids and lead project scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation and procurement of materials. They will monitor construction progress with regular site visits and reports to ensure timelines, budgets and quality standards are met. They will build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. The Project Manager will have at least 5 years of project management experience in multi-residential renovation or capital improvement projects. They will have a strong understanding of working in occupied buildings and be proficient in estimating, scheduling and project management software. They will have knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and construction best practices. Finally, they will be organized, a self starter and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast- paced environment. The successful PM candidate will receive a base salary between $60,000 and $90,000 dependent on experience.
