Job Description
Sandton based law firm seeks to employ the services of an experienced Receptionist. Duties will include, but not limited to: Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately; Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls; Update calendars and schedule meetings; General administrative and clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing and assisting colleagues where possible. Assisting conveyancing and litigation department with general administration duties. Confirming jurisdiction and following up with sheriffs Drafting of instruction letters to sheriffs and deeds office. Preparing pleadings for service by the sheriff. Must be familiar with Docex. Arrange courier services. Three to five years proven work experience as a Receptionist / Administrator / front office representative or similiar role; Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Hands on experience with office equipment; Professional attitude and appearance; Solid written and verbal communication skills; Excellent organizational skills.
