Job Purpose As part of the Knowledge Management Unit, this role is focused on managing research performance indicators, with an emphasis on publications data and strategic reporting. The role will support research performance reporting, the development of dashboards and maintenance of research publication systems within the NUHS Research Office.This position plays a key role in enabling data-informed decisions and showcasing NUHS research excellence. 2. Duties and Responsibilities Research Performance Monitoring & Analytics Develop and implement research performance metrics and evaluation frameworks aligned with NUHS’s strategic goals Track, analyze, and report on research performance data, particularly bibliometric indicators such as publication counts, citation impact, journal quartiles (e.g. SJR, JIF), FWCI, and collaboration metrics Prepare regular and ad hoc analytical reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders and senior management Publications & Bibliometric Support Maintain accurate tracking of research publications from internal systems and external databases (e.g. Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed) Handle enquiries related to publication records, journal rankings, and bibliometric data Ensure data integrity and alignment across multiple systems used for research performance tracking Knowledge Management & System Support Administer and maintain research publications platforms (e.g. Symplectic Elements) Identify opportunities to enhance data accessibility, automate workflows, and streamline performance tracking processes with AI / RPA. Institutional & Strategic Support Conduct and support the Total Performance Management (TPM) cycle through timely preparation and submission of research performance data Contribute to the profiling and publicity of high-impact research achievements through data-driven insights Collaborate with academic departments, research offices, and institutional partners to benchmark performance and identify areas for improvement Research Administration Data Monitoring & Analytics Work across units in NUHS Research Office to strengthen their knowledge management capabilities. Capture and collate administrative data for reporting and decision making 3. Job Requirements A good Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Studies, Library Science, Business Analytics, Data Science, Science, Engineering, Biomedical, Health Science, or Computer Science At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in research management, analytics, or bibliometrics within an academic, research, or healthcare setting Proficient in data analysis tools such as R, Python, Power Query, SQL Experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) Hands-on experience administering Symplectic Elements or other research information management systems is highly desirable Familiarity with bibliometric databases and scholarly publishing platforms (e.g. Scopus, InCites, SciVal, Web of Science) Familiarity with the use of AI & RPA to enhance data processing and decision-making workflows Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail and timeline Able to work independently and proactively acquire knowledge to complete tasks effectively Excellent organizational skills; capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative team player J-18808-Ljbffr
