Description Patient care will be provided at both Hospitals and provider will be the medical director at both facilities. 90% clinical, 10% administration $550k annual salary, 150k sign on bonus with 3 year commitment, 25k housing allowance, loan reimbursement annually JOB SUMMARY: Anesthesiologist shall provide services in the practice of Anesthesiology within the policies of the Hospital and with consultation and agreement of the surgeon involved with the care of the patient. Provide high quality Anesthesiology services within the Hospital Provide anesthesia consultation to inpatients and outpatients Provide occasional clinical education to members of the hospital staff Follow policies, rules and regulations of the Hospital Work within applicable standards of the American Society of Anesthesiologists Participate in committees and required meetings and undertake the responsibilities of the member of the Medical Staff Provide exceptional patient care Reliable attendance and punctuality, including observing appropriate break times and extending a scheduled shift when necessary to meet patient demands Performs duties in a safe manner, in compliance with all safety policies and procedures Complies with the Code of Conduct and all appropriate policies and procedures Other duties that are relevant to the position and department Requirements: Graduate of an accredited medical school Licensed in the State of Maine in the practice of Anesthesiology Maintain current federal DEA number 10 or more years experience providing anesthesia in acute care setting Skill and experience with full range of anesthesia methods
