TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in West Hollywood, California, 90048! Pay Information $2,344 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 17 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years with travel experience; first-time travelers accepted with a minimum of 3 years experience. License: Valid State License required; temporary licensure not accepted. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH. Preferred certification: CCRN. Must-Have: - Large hospital experience. - Experience with vents, IV starts, ICP monitoring, telemetry, and conscious sedation. - Experience in high acuity units including neuro, respiratory failure, hemodynamic instability, and acute myocardial infarction. Description: Flu vaccine is required. This is an ICU float pool position. The role may require floating to various units as needed. Candidates must be flexible regarding unit assignments. No requested time off within the first two weeks of the assignment. Candidates must be available to work two major holidays. An EKG exam will be administered on the first day of orientation, and passing is required to move forward with the contract. Advanced skills in arterial line management, blood product administration, and ventilator management are essential. Candidates will be expected to manage ventilation and provide care for critically ill patients. Experience with transplant patients is preferred. The unit supports interdisciplinary teams including IV teams, physical therapy, and rapid response teams. Candidates must be prepared for a diverse patient population with varying diagnoses.
