TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, 53158! Pay Information $2,962 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent experience required License: Current compact license required in hand Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required in hand before start Must-Have: - Ability to interpret and sign off telemetry strips - Two references from the past year, including one from the most recent assignment Description: This position requires working night shifts of 4 consecutive 12-hour shifts. Candidates must have recent experience in a similar role. Interpretation of telemetry strips is essential for this position. The team works with a patient population that includes adults and geriatrics. Collaboration with interdisciplinary support teams is expected. The registered nurse will provide care in a Med/Surg/Tele environment. Blood product administration and management of dysrhythmias are important skill sets needed. A commitment to patient safety and effective communication is crucial. Weekends may be required as per departmental needs. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to meet patient care requirements. Candidates should be familiar with charting systems, preferably Epic. The average patient ratio during nights will be 6 patients per nurse. Successful candidates will demonstrate skill in starting IVs and managing peripheral lines. This role requires adherence to infection control and isolation precautions. Travel experience is required for this position.
