Junior Maintenance Assistant

A cold storage company is looking for a Junior Maintenance Assistant with a background in racking, shelving, and general maintenance to join their team in City Deep, Johannesburg . This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and hands-on professional to support the maintenance team and ensure the operational efficiency of the facility. Responsibilities: Assist with the installation and maintenance of racking and shelving systems. Perform general maintenance tasks and repairs on-site. Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential issues. Support senior maintenance staff in various projects and daily tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety protocols and procedures. Requirements: A background in racking, shelving, and general maintenance. No prior experience with ammonia is required. Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
