Fleet Supervisor

POSITION PURPOSE Supervision & Coordination of Drivers & Assistants Fleet Management and Tracking KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Monitoring Coordination of Drivers, Driver Assistants & Casuals. Weekly & Monthly Vehicle Checks and inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy Coordinating Services & Repairs on Vehicles. Planning, Checking & Tracking on-route vehicles daily. Communicate with Drivers to ensure all safe. Continuous monitoring of vehicle movements on tracking Websites Assist Drivers with directions to customers and end users. Communication 2.1 Communicating with tracking companies 2.2 Communicating with vehicle service/parts centres 2.3 Co-ordinating vehicle services and maintenance Vehicle Control Ensure fleet is serviced in accordance with manufacturers requirements Update diesel reports 3.3 Update latest kilometres on vehicle service spread sheet Administration Ensure tracking units are working and replaced on failure Ensure via tracking reports that fleet stays on allocated routes, action any abuse Fill delivery vehicles with diesel and capture litres filled and latest odometer readings 4.4 Ensure that all vehicles are back at the yard or in their desired locations before leaving the Office Documentation and Security 5.1 Ensure that all vehicles are back at the yard or in their desired locations before leaving the office 5.2 Report all incidents and accidents and completing accident reports and ensure vehicles are repaired by insurance 5.3 Overall security of assets in area of responsibility Employee will perform additional duties as assigned by Manager Employee may from time to time be required to perform duties outside the ambit of the position.
