Mechanical Design Engineer

We are hiring – Design Release Engineer (DRE) Cockpit Systems (Mid Level) We are looking for a Design Release Engineer (DRE) to join our team in Mexico, focusing on Cockpit Systems : Instrument Panel, Center Console, Interior Trims, HVAC Integration, Ducts and Cross Car Beam. What you’ll do: Design, validate, and release cockpit components. Manage CNs, BOMs, and release documentation in Teamcenter/Enovia. Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, purchasing, validation). Support prototype builds, pre-series, launches, and resolve engineering issues. Conduct and track DVP&R testing (fit & finish, durability, NVH, thermal, safety). Apply DFMEA/PFMEA methodologies to ensure robust design. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive, or related. 2–5 years of experience in cockpit/interior systems (IP, console, trims, ducts). Strong proficiency in NX/Teamcenter or CATIA/Enovia . Knowledge of injection molding, foaming, painting, and assembly processes. English: technical proficiency (oral and written). Nice to have: OEM or Tier 1 experience in cockpit/interior systems. Familiarity with ergonomics, occupant packaging, crash and safety standards.
