About The Position Job Quick Facts: Specialty: Cardiovascular Surgery Job Type: Locum Tenens Facility Location: Colorado Springs, CO Service Setting: Inpatient Reason For Coverage: Supplemental Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing Coverage Type: Call only Call Schedule: 24-hr call; 6a-6a - Weekends; Fri-Sun & sporadic weekday calls Patient Demographics: Adults only Patient Volume: Ave. of 10-15 per day - 8-10 ICU - 1-2 Surgeries Admissions: 1-2 Physicians in Practice: 2 - No other thoracic surgeons during locum call coverage. Mid-levels in Practice: 5 Duties: Required to supervise & provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call.
