TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Charge Nurse RN in Green Bay, Wisconsin, 54311! Pay Information $2,330 per week About The Position Job Title: Nursing Administration Profession: Nursing Specialty: Nursing Administration Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 1-2 years License: RN Certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE (preferred) Must-Have: Experience at a level III NICU, O2 therapy, nitrate oxide, CPAP, chest tube, care of micropreemie, experience with intubated and vented neonates, delivery experience, transport experience (preferred) Description: This facility is a Level II Trauma Center. It has a Level III NICU and Level III Maternity. It is also a Primary Stroke Center. The facility has a total of 167 beds. Covid vaccination is required. The patient types include micropreemies with no major surgeries, infections, respiratory distress, and NAS. Patient ratios are 1:1-3 for days and nights. Required skills include: - Experience at a Level III NICU. - O2 therapy. - Nitrate oxide. - CPAP usage. - Chest tube management. - Care of micropreemies. - Experience with intubated and vented neonates. - Delivery experience. Support on the unit includes: - CNA support at a ratio of 1:18. - Phlebotomy available for lab draws. - Charge nurse takes an assignment. - Bedside tele and nurses station tele monitoring without a tele tech. - Neonatologist and NP available in-house 24/7. The charting systems and equipment utilized include EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis. Floating may occur to pediatrics to care for NICU babies. Weekends are rotated every other week. No on-call duty is required.
