Pay Information $1,589 per week About The Position Job Title: Clinical Nurse I, II, III, IV Profession: RN Specialty: Psychiatry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Current RN license or current Compact state license Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: CPI or equivalent Description: The Registered Nurse is a clinical practitioner who coordinates and implements patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units. He/she ensures that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care. He/she demonstrates performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization. Demonstrates quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice. Treats staff, physicians, patients, and families with consideration and respect. Minimum qualifications include: Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing. Current knowledge and skills appropriate to the age/type of patient population served. Knowledgeable and sensitive to patients' rights in the delivery of care. Communicates in a clear, concise manner appropriate to the developmental age of the patient. The Registered Nurse is responsible to the Patient Care Director or Manager. The work environment includes exposure to bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, and varied working hours. This position requires the ability to handle emergency/crisis situations effectively. The role involves considerable standing, walking, and physical effort to position, push, or transfer patients or equipment and supplies. Required skills also include reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Visual and hearing acuity must be within normal or correctable limits.
