TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PICU RN in Madison, Wisconsin, 53792! Pay Information $2,500 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7:00 am - 7:30 pm or 7:00 pm - 7:30 am) Experience: Pediatric ICU experience required. CVC PICU experience required. Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last three years. Telemetry experience required. License: Traveler must have a valid Registered Nurse license. Certifications: BLS certification through the American Heart Association is required. PALS certification through the American Heart Association is required. Must-Have: Baccalaureate degree in nursing is preferred. Basic arrhythmia experience is required. Traveler must pass a telemetry test prior to starting. Description: Join a highly skilled and committed multidisciplinary team. Provide family-centered care to critically ill or injured children and their families. Deliver comprehensive care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical problems. Patient problems include acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multi-organ failure, and ECMO. The facility provides specialized care in a healing environment designed for pediatric patients and their families. Expect to float to various units based on staffing needs. Weekend coverage and some holiday availability are required. Enjoy working in a state-of-the-art facility recognized for its expert care. Participate in delivering care for diverse pediatric patients, from neonates to adolescents. Complete contract obligations even if reassigned to another unit due to staffing changes.
