TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Conroe, Texas, 77304! Pay Information $1,612 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of ICU experience License: Current nursing license Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: ICU experience with ventilator and cardiovascular drips Description: The position requires a candidate with a minimum of 1 year of experience in an intensive care unit. The candidate must be skilled in managing ventilators and administering cardiovascular drips. Experience in neuro care is preferred. The unit has 30 beds and is staffed by 82 personnel. Staffing typically includes 2 charge nurses and 15 nurses, depending on patient acuity and needs. Patient ratios can be 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1. Equipment used in the unit includes Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT), Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP), and Impella. Familiarity with Meditech EMR is beneficial. Typical procedures performed in the unit include thoracentesis and arterial and central line placements. The dress code consists of royal blue scrubs.
