TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Pueblo, Colorado, 81009! Pay Information $2,380 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, C-EFM or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: - First-time travelers accepted - Weekend requirements as per unit needs - Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs Description: Position for Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse. Shifts will be days, from 5:45 AM to 6:15 PM on varied days of the week. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Travelers with no prior experience in the facility are welcomed to apply. Weekend coverage may be needed based on departmental needs. Required certifications include AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and either C-EFM or Intermediate Fetal Monitoring. The unit is fast-paced, averaging 150 births a month, and provides care for women and infants. The nurse will be responsible for circulating in the OR and placing internal monitors. Triage experience is necessary. The nurse will work with a 1:2 patient ratio. Charting is done using the Epic system. Special procedures include managing high-risk deliveries and postpartum care. Daily census ranges from 5-10 patients. Patient demographics include low risk perinatal conditions as well as various high-risk scenarios. Interdisciplinary support is available from respiratory services, social services, and pharmacy.
