Senior Full Stack Java Developer

Overview Our platform provides one of the most critical functions enabling the firm to effect security settlements in all the markets the firm conducts business in. On peak volume days, the firm processes up to forty million trades and effects settlements worth hundreds of billions of dollars across multiple countries and currencies. The team has a significant presence in Montreal, New York, and Mumbai, organized into agile squads aligned with product owners and stakeholders. We focus on delivering resilient, scalable, and secure solutions using modern tools and practices. We are looking for a Senior Developer to help build a cloud-based settlement platform with exposure to cloud architectures and public cloud offerings. Key Responsibilities Actively participate in refinement sessions to ensure requirements are clearly defined. Write clean, performant, scalable, testable, and reusable code and build automated tests. Guide junior developers in following best software development practices. Follow DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipeline creation and telemetry enablement. Contribute to enhancing team standards and improving development processes. Required Qualifications Level 4 (Advanced): 7–15 years of experience. 6 years of hands-on experience building distributed systems using agile practices. Strong working knowledge of core Java and Spring frameworks (including Spring Boot). Solid understanding of microservice architecture, resiliency, scalability, security, and observability. Experience with high-volume messaging and REST-based middleware. Ability to define and implement database models (relational or otherwise). Familiarity with cloud-based development principles. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Strong oral and written communication skills. Fast learner with a desire to continuously improve. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud. Experience with Angular. Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 360 integration. Experience with Kafka and MongoDB. J-18808-Ljbffr
