Job Description
Overview A prominent law firm based in Mississauga, serving the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) across various practice areas, is expanding and seeking an experienced Business Development lead to drive growth initiatives. What you will do Formulate and implement comprehensive business development strategies. Spearhead the identification of opportunities, craft pitches, and manage client responses. Collaborate with Sector and Practice Leaders and client team leaders to devise annual business development strategies, plans, and tactics. Monitor progress against objectives and manage expenditure within budgetary constraints. Oversee day-to-day requests for business development support (e.g., RFP submissions) and contribute to broader firm-wide initiatives on a project-by-project basis. Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure seamless firm operations. What you will need to succeed Minimum of 5 years in business development roles, preferably in a professional services setting, ideally within a law firm. Strong time management and organizational abilities, with the capacity to proactively resolve issues and navigate competing priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. High level of professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, punctuality, and proficiency in time and project management.
