Group Chief Financial Officer (Multinational Group)

Our client is a Singapore-headquartered multinational group with established operations across the globe. The company has a diversified global footprint and is recognized for its long-term growth, strategic investments, and commitment to sustainability. The group is seeking an experienced Group CFO to provide financial leadership, drive business performance, and strengthen governance at the corporate level. Roles and Responsibilities Strategic Finance Leadership : Oversee the full spectrum of group finance, including business and cost controls, treasury, tax planning, budgeting, and governance. Business Partnering : Partner closely with senior leadership to drive performance, growth, and long-term sustainability across multiple markets. Investment & Corporate Finance : Lead reviews of capital investments, monitor returns, and support corporate finance programs such as fundraising, M&A, due diligence, and deal execution. Operational Excellence : Champion continuous improvement in finance processes, internal controls, and cash/working capital management. Governance & Risk : Ensure strong financial discipline, regulatory compliance, and sustainable decision-making to safeguard the group’s long-term interests. Leadership & Capability Building : Build and develop a high-performing finance team, while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation. Requirements Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Economics; CPA, CFA, or MBA qualifications preferred. At least 15 years of finance experience, including 5 years in senior leadership roles with multinational exposure. Strong expertise in group controllership, treasury, corporate finance, and cross-border tax. Proven track record in driving operational excellence, governance, and financial transformation. Prior experience in large, complex organizations (e.g., manufacturing, industrial, or capital-intensive sectors) preferred. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to partner with business leaders across geographies.
