Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 11/10/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Certfications: Certs marked with * are preferred 4hr annual stroke CEUs, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Prophecy Relias advanced EKG Description: ACLS, BLS, NIH Required Min 2 years exp required Every other weekend Accepts 1st time travelers Patient Ratios: 4-5 based on pt acuity Float required: Y Scrubs: Navy Blue Required Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, IV insulin protocols, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, CVA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula , Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks Special Procedures/Unit Details: *Peritoneal Dialysis *Telemetry (RN to interpret & document rhythm) *Non-titratable Drips include: Amiodarone, Diltilizem Cardiazem, Amiodarone & Lasix. *Heparin - Heparin drip nursing protocol *Code Team Responders (recorders & time keepers) *Stroke certified unit - Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:4, but RN should be expected to take 1:5 based on acuity and downgrades - if floated to non tele med surg unit patient ratio is 1:6 PCU/Telemetry Cardiac Monitoring - Admits from NWH ED, direct admits from Grace Medical Center, transfers from non-tele units: Job Location: Randallstown, MD 21133 Pay Package: Total Hourly Pay Rate: $61.56 Per Hour On W2(Taxable): $17.16 Per Hour Stipend(Non-Taxable): $43.56 Per Hour PTO $0.84 Per Hour Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,216.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $617.87 Per Week PTO $30.13 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,568.00 Per Week About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
