ICU RN Job Details Location: Westminster, Colorado (80023) – Colorado nursing jobs Assignment Type: Travel Nursing – ICU Registered Nurse Unit: Float Pool ICU/CCU Start Date: November 10, 2025 End Date: February 7, 2026 Duration: 13-week contract Shifts: 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week Hours per Week: 36 Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Number of Openings: 4 ICU RN positions On-Site Position Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990–$2130 ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating NLC state (required) Associate Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required) NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required) At least 1 year of ICU nursing experience (preferred) Willingness to float to other units and Centura Health locations within 60 miles as needed ICU RN Responsibilities Assess and address the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of ICU patients Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team Demonstrate clinical competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection Advocate for patient safety, rights, and well-being at all times Educate patients and families, assess learning readiness, and evaluate teaching effectiveness Provide compassionate, relationship-based care that respects patient preferences and values Delegate appropriately to non-RN personnel in accordance with Colorado state and hospital policies Serve as a professional role model, mentor new staff, and participate in ongoing nursing education and quality improvement initiatives Maintain accurate and up-to-date professional records and demonstrate commitment to lifelong learning Participate in unit-based quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research activities Ready to take the next step in your nursing career?
