Position Overview We are hiring a full-time Entry-Level Installation Technician to join our team in Atlanta. In this role, you’ll assist lead technicians with the installation of medical equipment, computer workstations, digital signage, and other technology inside hospital environments. This is a hands-on position where you’ll learn the trade while gaining valuable experience in healthcare technology. What You’ll Do Assist Installation Technicians with mounting and installing medical equipment, digital signage, and IT devices. Unbox, stage, and set up equipment before installation. Perform cable management and organize wiring for a clean, professional finish. Help maintain warehouse organization as needed. Safely dispose of packaging materials and job-site debris. Learn to troubleshoot basic issues that arise during installations. Represent Cogent professionally while working in sensitive hospital environments. What We’re Looking For Mechanical intuition and a hands-on problem-solving mindset. Familiarity with hand tools (construction, IT, or low-voltage experience a plus). Ability to lift and move heavy equipment. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Reliability, punctuality, and professionalism. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screen. Vaccination requirements: MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), Varicella (Chickenpox), and willingness to receive flu and TB shots (per hospital policy). Flexibility to work evenings/weekends if needed to minimize patient disruption.
