Job Description

Duties include but not limited to: Full function for AR/AP Including age analysis, processing and management of Debtors Control Bank Reconciliations Cash Drop reconciliations and management Payroll preparation support Maintaining ledgers to the trial balance Filing and record-keeping Support Financial Manager Prepare financial reports Ensure compliance with all internal financial controls, rules and audit requirements Qualifications : Matric coupled with a degree and or national diploma in accounting 2-3 years' experience in accounting/bookkeeping - including clerical or internship work Computer skills - SAGE / Pastel MS Office (Excel) Fluent in English and Afrikaans Previous experiences in the hospitality industry will be advantageous Skills : Strong understanding of accounting principles, debits/credits/trial balance Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to reconcile accounts and process invoices Good organisational and time management skills Strong communication - written and verbal Ability to work within a team environment professional and trustworthy
