Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician Profession: Cardiopulmonary Specialty: Electrophysiology (EP) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Experience: Minimum 1 year of electrophysiology experience, or 3 years of interventional experience. License: CVT background preferred or ARRT certification. Certifications: RCES certification or interventional technologist background. Must-Have: EP lab experience. Description: This position is for an experienced technician in a busy environment performing complex ablations. The lab utilizes advanced systems, including PFA technology, for implanted devices, pacemakers, and loop recorders. The unit comprises 2 electrophysiology labs. Staffing ratios typically involve 2 technicians and 1-2 registered nurses per case, depending on the complexity. The lab handles 2-6 cases per day across two rooms. This role operates Monday through Friday with no weekend or on-call requirements.
