Job Description

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Must have an active state license or willing to participate in a licensure project Certifications: ACLS, ARRT R, BLS, CCI RCES*, CCI RCIS*, ARRT Advanced Certification* Must-Have: Experience with hemodynamic monitoring Inpatient and outpatient procedures Pacemaker insertion and monitoring Obtaining vital signs Interpretation of dysrhythmias Description: The Cath Lab Tech position involves performing specialized procedures in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include monitoring hemodynamics and assisting with various cardiac interventions. Candidates must demonstrate experience with STEMI protocols and the ability to start IVs and perform phlebotomy. Experience with Rotablader and electrophysiology ablations is essential. Additional skills include interpreting dysrhythmias and performing cardiac interventions such as stent placements and angioplasties. The role requires participation in on-call rotations, including one night per week and every fourth weekend. Candidates may float to related departments based on the daily case load and staffing needs. Holiday coverage will be required as needed. All applicants must meet the experience requirements and have relevant certifications prior to starting. The facility supports interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care in the cath lab. Travel experience is preferred. This position requires adherence to all professional conduct standards and protocols.
