Radiology - Interventional Physician

Job Opening: Locum Physician - Interventional Radiology Join our dedicated team at a comprehensive facility in Statesville, NC, providing top-tier healthcare services. This role offers an onsite hospital setting wherein you'll utilize advanced technology to manage a diverse case mix, focusing on interventional radiology procedures. You will be part of a collaborative environment that values patient care and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Conduct light interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drainages, and lumbar punctures. Utilize various modalities such as XR, MR, NM, CT, US, and Fluoroscopy to provide diagnostic imaging. Manage a case mix involving emergency, musculoskeletal, neuro, nuclear medicine, and mammography diagnostics. Engage in a high volume of patient interactions, averaging 90-100 cases and 60-70 wRVUs per 8-hour shift. Collaborate with medical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment planning. Qualifications: Board Certification in Radiology Interventional. Active North Carolina Medical License. Current DEA Registration.
