Mental Health Assistant - Secondary - Wokingham ASAP Start - Full-Time Position Are you passionate about supporting young people's mental health and emotional well-being? A forward-thinking and supportive secondary school in Wokingham is seeking a Mental Health Assistant to work with students aged 11 to 18 facing a range of challenges including SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), Anxiety, ADHD, and Autism. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to gain first-hand experience supporting mental health in an educational setting. Key Details Role: Mental Health Assistant Location: Wokingham Salary: £89-£100 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm Start Date: ASAP Ideal for: Psychology, Counselling, Criminology Graduates or aspiring Educational Psychologists/TherapistsAs a Mental Health Assistant, you'll work closely with pastoral teams, teachers, and external therapists to provide emotional and behavioural support to students. You'll support both 1:1 interventions and small group work, promoting emotional regulation and resilience in a safe and inclusive environment.
