Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Aylesbury Term: Permanent Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum An established engineering company based in Aylesbury is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic design department working on a variety of mechanical systems and components. The Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following: Strong proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar 3D CAD software) A degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 3 years' experience in a mechanical design role Experience with heat exchangers would be highly desirable Good knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve: Producing detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings Designing mechanical components and systems for a range of applications Working closely with production, quality, and project teams to ensure designs meet specification Creating and maintaining BOMs and technical documentation Assisting in prototype build and testing phases Contributing to design improvements and value engineering initiatives If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with your updated CV, along with your availability and salary expectations
