ROLE- Senior Design Engineer LOCATION- Berkshire TERM- Permanent SALARY- £50,000 - £60,000, dependent on experience My client provides Engineering Solutions in the Construction industry. They are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team in Berkshire on a permanent basis. The Senior Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: 2-5 years’ or more of experience in a similar Design / CAD Operation position Experience with factory fit out design – lighting, plumbing, electrical and HVAC layouts Experienced using 2D and 3D CAD software – ideally Revit and AutoCAD Strong background in M&E Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Design, Engineering or similar Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Proficient using MS Office Excellent organisational skills and time management skills Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team The Senior Design Engineer role will involve: Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings Producing drawings to bespoke requirements Communicating directly with clients to determine requirements Being involved in final layout designs Creating the required documentation for design as well as project reports / plans Updating 3D models and drawings Checking drawings for sign off Working in a small multi-disciplinary team on varied projects If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
