Asbestos Site Supervisor

Job Title: Asbestos Site Supervisor Location: South Devon Salary: 55k About the Role We are seeking a qualified and experienced Licensed Asbestos Site Supervisors . In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing asbestos removal projects, ensuring full compliance with legal, health, and safety regulations. You will play a key role in site operations, team leadership, and quality assurance whilst supervising a team of five. Key Responsibilities Supervise asbestos removal works in accordance with all legal, safety, and company standards. Manage site setup, ongoing operations, and safe dismantling procedures. Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of all RPE (Respiratory Protective Equipment) and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Oversee transit and decontamination procedures for personnel and equipment. Operate and supervise the use of plant and associated equipment on site. Implement emergency procedures and manage risks including non-asbestos-related hazards. Conduct regular site inspections and maintain accurate records and documentation. Prepare, review, and update risk assessments and plans of work. Monitor site performance and ensure compliance with internal and external monitoring systems. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members to uphold high safety and performance standards. Requirements Proven track record in licensed asbestos removal operations. Valid UK driving licence (company car and fuel card provided) Licensed Asbestos Supervisor Training (industry-recognised) essential. SSSTS Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
