Software Engineer

AI is rapidly saturating almost every aspect of our daily live whether we like it or not. While we might have concerns about how it effects our home lives, there are huge advantages of utilising AI in industry and this is the very reason this role has become available. You’ll join a long established and very successful business as they embark on their AI journey, developing existing and emerging AI technology to help efficiency through new systems and processes across all areas of the company. This is a unique opportunity to join them as the AI Subject Matter Expert helping to drive the adoption of Artificial Intelligence technology through the review and subsequent development of internal systems. To be considered for this role you’ll possess the following skills and experience: - Demonstrable experience in an AI / ML Development Environment - Experience of working with C# and Azure (AI Search, App Services etc.) - Previous knowledge of M365 integration (Teams, SharePoint etc.) - A keen interest in existing and emerging AI / ML tech and how it can be used - The ability to balance experimenting with the development of robust, scalable systems - Good communication skills and influence the rest of the development team This is merely a snapshot of the job description (or wish list) and I’m happy to share the full spec if you think you’re the right person for this role. The client site is based in South Lanarkshire and you will be required to be on-site 5 days a week, so being able to drive is hugely beneficial for this role.
