Job Description

Minimum requirements for the role: Must have a Bachelors Degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or related field; HR certification is advantageous Minimum 812 years HR experience, including 4 years leading multi-site teams within the agribusiness/industrial industry Expertise in talent acquisition, HR operations, performance management, and employee relations Proficiency with HR systems (e.g., Odoo HR or equivalent) is essential Fluency in English with proficiency in French being advantageous Strong judgment, confidentiality, and data-informed decision-making skills The successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing workforce plans (headcount, skills, budget) aligned with business goals. Maintaining clear organizational design, role definitions, and career paths. Overseeing end-to-end recruitment, ensuring quality hires and 90-day retention. Standardizing HR operations, including contracts, onboarding, HRIS, and payroll inputs. Maintaining compliant, localized people policies and vendor relationships. Implementing a pragmatic performance cycle, including goals, reviews, and feedback. Designing learning paths to address skills gaps for managers and frontline leaders. Fostering a value-aligned, safety-aware culture in collaboration with Operations and HSE. Managing compensation, benefits, and employee relations with transparency and fairness. Ensuring compliance with labour laws and maintaining audit-ready records.
