About the Role Were looking for a compassionate, detail-oriented Group Benefits Disability Claims Administrator to join our Group Solutions team. In this role, youll support people when they need it most ensuring disability claims are handled with care, accuracy, and respect. What Youll Do Manage disability claims from start to finish, ensuring every claim is processed efficiently, accurately, and in line with company policies and regulations Support our clients by responding to queries with empathy, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping them find clarity and reassurance Ensure data accuracy by maintaining complete and up-to-date information on internal systems Meet service standards by adhering to agreed turnaround times and maintaining the high-quality service our clients trust us for Prepare clear and reliable reports to support management and ensure operational transparency Contribute to improvement initiatives by sharing ideas that enhance processes and elevate client experiences Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure seamless service delivery and positive outcomes for clients Participate in team projects that strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of the disability claims function What Youll Bring Qualifications and Experience Matric (essential) Certificate of Proficiency (COP) in Long-Term Insurance (advantageous) At least 23 years experience in Group Benefits or Disability Claims administration Working knowledge of the Long-Term Insurance Act and related industry standards Skills and Attributes A natural people-person with strong interpersonal and client service skills Excellent computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Excel and data systems Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving ability Exceptional attention to detail and pride in doing things right Fluent in English and at least one African language A confident communicator clear, professional, and empathetic Comfortable working independently and as part of a close-knit team Self-motivated, focused, and proactive in getting things done Deep respect for confidentiality and client trust Open-minded, curious, and willing to challenge the status quo when it leads to better results Passionate about excellence, teamwork, and making a meaningful impact Why Join Us Youll be part of an organisation that genuinely puts people first: our clients, our colleagues, and our communities.
