Come join the new Vestas Blades Process Engineering organization, a co-located process engineering team focused on developing and supporting the organization with subject matter experts (SMEs). This organization embeds engineering skill directly into the manufacturing value stream to enable faster decision-making, deeper process ownership, and knowledge growth, built on a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability. Responsibilities Analysis of AS IS and future state Build, maintain and implement strategy plan for the area Performance management of the process area including defining, monitoring and providing programs to improve KPIs and PIs Creation and management of the Competence Center within the process area Responsible for Kaizen events within the area Quantitative approach with use of toolbox – Six Sigma / Lean Embeds engineering skills directly into the manufacturing value stream Enables faster decision-making and deeper infusion of process ownership and knowledge Develop standardized manufacturing processes and tool solutions Develop, maintain and deliver user-focused manufacturing documentation to the factories Ensure repeatability and scalability across internal and external sites Attract and retain highly skilled engineering talent with advanced technical proficiency Build a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability Engage and collaborate with relevant colleagues and business stakeholders to solve operational issues with speed and quality and develop area expertise Qualifications University degree in Master of Manufacturing Engineering or similar GB Six Sigma or Advanced Manufacturing Process Analysis Experience 10 years of experience in similar roles Prior experience leading a team of specialists within process engineering or a team of highly skilled employees Data- and quality-driven manufacturing culture Built a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability Experience in a culture where people’s development is prioritized Composite materials knowledge (fiberglass, carbon fiber, epoxy resins, and related materials) Core competences End-to-end process and product understanding Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels Embeds engineering skills into the manufacturing value stream Enables faster decision-making and deep process ownership Leverages data analytics and drives continuous improvement Root-cause problem-solving and active participation in technical discussions Develop standardized manufacturing processes and tooling solutions Ensures repeatability and scalability across sites Attracts and retains skilled engineering talent with high technical ability Adept at navigating large organizations and cross-functional product development Fluency in English in written and verbal communication Strong presentation skills; self-motivated, result-oriented, and organized Willing to engage with colleagues across cultures/time zones and build broad stakeholder networks Customer-oriented with view of the full business value chain Willingness to spend time in factory environments to understand and solve problems Committed to continuous learning What we offer Opportunity to grow your professional career in an international environment Competitive salary plus bonus Computer and mobile phone Medical and life insurance Our commitment to fair hiring and DEIB Vestas evaluates candidates based on professional experience, education, and relevant skills.
