Overview Facility & Maintenance Manager - Italy, Paterno' - Permanent Contract Are you local to Paterno' and looking for your next contract assignment? Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, are recruiting for a Facility & Maintenance Manager to join their newly assembled team and help contribute towards the development of their next core projects. Responsibilities Lead the maintenance strategy across production equipment, cleanrooms, HVAC systems, and site infrastructure Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans, aligned with GMP and EHS standards Own and optimise our CMMS system, ensuring accurate asset tracking, work order management, and performance reporting Manage critical utilities (WFI, HVAC, compressed air, purified water, etc.) to ensure up time and regulatory compliance Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Quality, and Validation teams to minimise downtime and optimise throughput Oversee contractor management, ensuring safe and compliant execution of third-party work Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures and facility deviations Qualifications Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience) Requires extensive experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, ideally within API or pharmaceutical production Strong working knowledge of CMMS platforms, technical documentation, and regulatory standards Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary teams and external contractors Deep understanding of EHS, GMP, and validation protocols Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Fluency in both Italian and English is essential for effective communication across local and global teams J-18808-Ljbffr
