Overview Software Development Engineer II, Navigator — help revolutionize the online shopping experience for millions of Amazon customers worldwide. Navigator teams focus on delivering software solutions that keep the customer and builder experience fast, responsive, and frustration-free, providing actionable data insights and a feature-rich experience across PCs, phones, and tablets. We are a broad platform and experiences team, with dozens of partners contributing to deliver the best shopping and building experience for hundreds of millions of products. Our team builds tools to search, locate processes, aggregate and reconcile operations, pinpoint problematic components, triage errors, report and analyze operation metrics and trends, and identify improvement opportunities with reduced reliance on log digging. We are looking for talented, motivated, and passionate full stack engineers to be part of our team. As an engineer on Amazon.com’s site and Navigator teams, you will delight customers with fast and relevant experiences. You will push performance boundaries and help millions of shoppers and builders experience feature-rich pages rendered quickly across devices globally. About the team: we are building solutions for engineers at Amazon that leverage AI to reduce time to build and deploy, and tools to enable people with no technical knowledge to build solutions. Responsibilities Work with Amazon teams to design, build, and maintain scalable software solutions. Improve page rendering performance and responsiveness. Contribute to full-stack development across distributed systems and data services. Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities, triage issues, and deliver high-quality software on time. Salary is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
