Responsibilities Management of all IT assets (hardware, software, and service agreements). This includes the clarification of user requests with the responsible cost unit, as well as lifecycle management of assets from their procurement via their installation at the user’s site, reviewing the settlement of accounts, to the ultimate disposal of the assets. All server and network activities requiring a physical presence, for instance cabling, installation, and maintenance of server and network hardware in racks. Retail support: supporting cash register hardware, back-office hardware, other store infrastructure, and Retail Applications (in accordance with IT AS Retail and local business). Support in specific areas (like Digital Signage and InStore Music) to IR customers Supporting local telephony (fixed line and mobile) and unified communication. Move-Add-Change (MAC) services for IT workplaces and offices. Responding to and following through user requests acting as a 2nd Level local Support. Escalating or transferring them to more appropriate colleagues whenever appropriate. Helps in procurement process for IT specific devices and services Providing expertise and contributing to Local IT projects and new requirements in coordination with and under the direction of local IT Colleagues. About You University degree/ Education, preferably engineering, computer science, information technology. Autonomy and excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent English and Italian proficiency, presentation, and communication skills. Team orientation, and ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Innovative and creative approach whenever possible and can-do attitude. Minimum 6 months of professional experience in a similar role within an international setting would be a plus.
